I know that quite a few people who are visiting the site don't even know us, so I wanted to make sure that people can put some faces with names that you're reading. These are all pics of Jenni in healthier and happier times. If you have pictures of Jenni that you would like me to add to this slideshow, post a comment with a link and I'll add it as soon as I have time.

Hey Josh and Jenni! I'm not sure if you remember me, but I am Beth Hall's best friend, Megin Chapman. i was diagnosed with breast cancer on July 23, 2008 and had a lumpectomy on August 6. Went through chemo and now I am about to finish radiation and I'm doing great. Jenni, I think of you often and continue to keep you in my prayers. I would love to meet both of you someday, hopefully in the near future in Rockingham when you return from Duke. Remember, God has a plan for the both of you and He will never, ever abandon you! When you feel the most afraid, that is when He has his arms wrapped around you and whispering in your ear that everything is going to be OK.
I've signed up to be kept up to date on your progress.
Love and prayers,
Megin
Jenni, I want you to know that everyone is thinking of you and praying for you at Rohanen. We all think so much of you. I miss my lounge partner! Anyway, I know you are still strong deep inside and that the Lord will guide you through all of this. Josh, you are in our prayers too. The blog was a great idea to keep everyone updated. Just know that we all are here with you both on our minds.
Love,
Gretchen

So, we're praying that our God will continue to be with you both as you face these trials and that He will bless you according to His will. Your friends Ric & Cindy
Jenni and Josh,
All of us at The Jackson Group are praying for the fast recovery of Jenni. We appreciate all of the updates you are able to give to us. Both of you are amazing people and very strong; God has many ways of showing us his love and right now, he's doing just that. We will continue to pray for your strength and for wisdom so that the doctors' can figure out the best treatments.

Good Morning, Jenni & Josh...
I am very thankful that this page was shared with me today! Sometimes "we" take our health for granted so easily without realizing how truly blessed each & everyone of us really are. We should give all the glory & praise to God for allowing us His wonderful mercy. Continue to be strong & trust in God for He is the healer of all sickness!
"Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them." (Mark 11:24)

Hi Jenny and family,
I am one of Judy's instructor and I sent a comment the other day but I am not sure it posted. Regardless, I want all of you to know that you are in my thoughts and prayers. I am sure Jenny is well loved. Judy has shared with me a lot about you Jenny. I feel like I know you without ever meeting you. At times like these words are inadequate to express what we feel for others. God is our refuge and we have to trust him. Although, when a loved one hurts or suffers, it seems unfair. He has a plan and purpose for each of us, and we may never know what that plan is, but we must keep the faith. Again, I will continue to pray for you. Sue
Thanks for sharing, guys. I bet you didn't know that several years ago in Korea they did a clinical study to test whether prayer had any statistically significant effect on recoveries for cancer patients. The active religion in Korea (South Korea) is Christianity. (In North Korea, the active condition is threat of starvation). At any rate, Korean Christians pray a lot (!) so the medical researchers decided to set up a clinical trial. I know you will not be surprised to hear that the group of patients who WERE being prayed for (in a study with blinds, nobody knew who was being specifically prayed for and who wasn't) were statistically significantly more likely to recover than those who were not being prayed for. The study tested for prayer by people who KNEW the individual as well as by prayer groups of people unknown to the patient. The prayer groups were praying for the patient by name, but not knowing the person they were praying for. Pretty neat, huh? The moral of this story is, prayer is a much better bet than a lottery ticket! Fran Fuller, Teaches Stats at UNCP
JENNI, JUDI, AND JIM I AM PRAYING VERY HARD FOR YOU ALL AND JUST WANTED TO LET YOU ALL KNOW THAT IM THINKING OF YOU GUYS DURING SUCH A FRUSTRATING AND TRYING TIME!
Matthew 19:26 (New International Version). 26Jesus looked at them and said, "With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible."
GOD BLESS,

I just wanted to let you know you are in my thoughts and prayers!! I know you all have been through so much, but keep the faith and hope in your heart! Love, Christie Covington
I learned of your site through facebook and don't know any member of your family, but have been captivated by the love, patience, perseverance, and faith by your family. Josh, I pray that God will give you strength to be there for Jenni and courage to hear the things that make each day hard and keep moving forward. Judi, I pray that God will also give you the same things. I have a sister of my own and can't imagine being in your place. Just through reading your site I know that your family will prevail with the strength that you will gain in God. Your family is in my thoughts and prayers. Please, if there is anything I can do let me know.

Hi Josh and Jenni
This is Melinda Hinson Gentry, one of Jenni's cousins, Ann's daughter. Our uncle H D sent me the message last evening regarding Jenni's health. We are praying for you guys here in Texas. Always remember that God is in control. Even in the bleakest of times God has his precious hands on each an everyone of us. We will continue to pray for you guys.
Hi Josh and Jenni,
I just wanted to let you know that you both are in my prayers. I know that God will give you the strength you need to get through this. I met you both once in Debbie's classroom. Working with your Mom, I heard her talk about the two of you with so much love. The love your family have for each other and the trust in God is what will give you the strength you need.
Stay strong and keep the faith, Tina Brown
Jenni and Josh, you all are in my prayers. May God's saving grace put mercy on Jennie's bleeding lungs at this very moment. May he lift you Josh as you stand by her side and give you peace that God will take care of her. May he shower Jenni with strength to fight the hardest battle she has ever faught. Know that God is in control and he will put his healing hands on the area of the bleeding lungs that needs his gentle touch. In Jesus' precious and Holy name. I do not know you all except thru my sister n law and a friend. I will con't to pray for the bleeding to stop and her strength to continue. I will check each day to stay in touch.
In God's Love,

Hey Mrs and Mr Cornwell, I began my eighth grade year right after you guys left from Rohanen so I don't really remember much of you but I heard the news and I just wanted to let you know that both of you are in my prayers and that you should continue to have hope that Jen will be okay. My father was in a comma for three months and we didn't take him off of life support and he eventually woke up and now he is doing great, but only because we didn't give up hope or stop trusting that God would deliever a miracle. 36 hours seems such a small time but for God it can be an eternity. Don't give up hope because right when you stop trusting is when God stops trying. In the last of those hours, God may bring a miracle. I will continue praying for Jen and the family.
God bless you,
Kelsey Greene
Josh,
Both you and Jenni have been in the hearts of your UNC Pembroke family since the day you became members of the Residence Life Staff. We certainly have missed you both since you graduated. As recently as two weeks ago, Lucy, Ed and I were having a conversation when I asked if they had contact information for you and Jenni because I wanted to check-in on you all because I had talked to you all since the wedding. I am encouraged and inspired by your faith and that of your family. Keep standing on the word of God which tells us that his word will not return unto him void, it will accomplish what it is sent out to do. Because his word tells us that by his stripes we are healed, I am going to stand in agreement with you and the entire Cornwell/Wallace family and simply take God at his word. Jenni's situation is just right for God. I believe God is getting ready to show himself faithful and reveal his awesome power. I can't wait to hear Jenni's testimony of healing and deliverance. I wish there was more that I could do...but because I know that prayer changes thing, I am going to continue to cry out to God of Jenni's behalf.
God is real and he is able to do exceedingly and abundantly above all that we can even think or ask.
Love,
Ms. Cynthia
