Another Mishap

The doctors called Josh this morning around 7:30. There was a complication while inserting her central line (a line in her neck to give her some medications). Her left lung was accidentally punctured (which enlarged her pneumothorax). Therefore, they didn't get the line in. Josh and I (Judi-Jenni's twin sister) went back this morning and stayed until they kicked us out to to put in the chest tube. (this will help to reinflate her left lung). She is stable and still sedated. She opened her eyes right before we left. We kissed her on the forehead, told her we love her and left.

Josh, I saw an old quote on a church sign and thought it might give you some help today. "If God brings you to it, He'll bring you through it." We're praying hard for you and Jenni! We love you both! ~Ronnie, Maylissa and Ethan

Hi Josh, I am Julie Cagle from Rockingham. I've met you a few times at BHBC and at your wedding. Just wanted you to know that you, Jenni and your families are in my thoughts and prayers. I used to teach Jenni and Judi in GA's and both girls have always held special places in my heart. I know your time with Jenni is precious but if you get the chance please tell her that Ms. Julie loves her and is praying for her. Much love, Julie Cagle

Hey Guys!

As you know I keep up in every way possible, Big Jim, Judi our almost Nurse and the Blog . . .everyday is a small victory toward improving health . . Jenni, I could not help myself after seeing all the pics -- I called Becky B . . .and we took a trip down memory lane . . .and what a trip it was . . .later on I rummaged through my Bible and found something that Danny wrote in January of 1997, and I have felt since last evening that I need to share it with you both . . .it simply said, "Marie touched many people's lives, from those she worked with, her friends and her loved ones, her Christian faith was evident . . ." and I added one of God's chosen -- Baby this is you too! You know I have always said that Judi Rose and Amy were Jim's children and Layne and you were Marie's . . .the middle names were just crossed . . . I remember telling Josh before you married, when we ate at Bella Italy one evening, that he better take good care of you . . .there is no doubt that he has done so in such an awesome way . . .what a perfect couple you are, I can hardly to see what the future holds . . .Just know you continue to be in my prayers, and the prayers of so many . . .and we know that prayer changes things . . .hang in there sweet girl, because after the valley comes the mountaintop . . . Love to you both, Janet

Hello Jenni and Josh praying that things will start looking up for you guys. As each prayer is prayed lifting you up to the Throne of Grace I hope you can feel the presence of God Himself working and moving in your lives. God does not work on our timetable but on His. Jenni I know you are afraid and Josh I know you are afraid for her. There is a verse in the Bible I go to when I'm afraid. It's found in Psalm 56:3 and it says "What time I am afraid, I will trust in Thee." Both of you keep your faith in the One that is able to strenghthen you and put you back on your feet. Love you both Becky and Danny

Josh,Judi,Jim and All of us that love Judi so much. You are all in my prayers. One of the doctors that I have at Chapel Hill, who by the way is a lymphoma survivor told me this one day when I was really worried. He said Deborah my mama use to tell me If you are worrying you are not trusting....If you are not trusting you have no faith...and if you have no faith you have nothing. I wrote it down and keep it in my pocketbook at all times. When I am really having a bad day I read it. It helps because I know who is in charge of everything. We are all having a bad day becuase we love Jenni so much and cannot stand the thought of all she is having to go thru now and the thought of how scared she must be just kills me, but I know Jenni has more faith than anybody I know. I don't know how many times I would think gosh I wish I could be more like Jenni. She is a fighter and she will make it thru all of the battles she is going thru now. I know she will and I will keep trusting and praying. I love you
all. Deborah Moore

Your family is in my thoughts and prayers. I have known Jenni and Judi for quite some time. They were good friends with my sister. Please know that Jenni will be on my daily prayer list. God is in control and I have the faith that he will put his healing hand upon her and touch her. If I can do anything please let me know Judi. Love to you all, Tara Simmons Hancock
