There is a Reason We Try Not Get too "Up"

We just had a conference with Dr. Katz. He was gracious as always. He told us some things we already knew. Jenni's lungs are not demonstrating enough improvement, they are out of treatment options and we are running out of time.

We probably have about 36 hours for things to get better.

Please continue to pray for things to improve with the bleeding in the lungs and that we would see it on the vent.

Grace and Peace
Layne

Jenni, Josh, and family,

We don't know what we can say that hasn't already been said, but we just want you to know that we are praying for you and for healing. Jenni, you are a sweet and kind person, but you are also a fighter! We know that you will be healed with the powerful, loving hands of Jesus. This is a little something that helps me make it through difficult times: God is too wise to be mistaten, God is too good to be unkind, but when you don't understand, when you can't see His plan, when you can't trace His hand, trust His heart!! Keep fighting and we will keep praying!!

Love,

Jon and Carolin Marks

Jenni...I am so praying for you right now and that there could be some kind of improvement in your body...with God all things are possible and God is totally in control of this situation. I have a lot of people praying for you through facebook and also at my church here in Lumberton. There are so many prayers going out for you right now. Praying for you, Josh, JUdi, and Layne as well and the rest of the family that you feel God's wrapping his arms around each of you giving you that unconditional love that you need right now. Praying for a miracle!

Josh,
We are keeping up with every little bit of progress Jenni is making. We are so thankful that you guys are seeing some small signs of improvement. Prayer works!!! There are so many people praying for you and Jenni...and we're going to keep on until she pulls through! Jenni is so strong and I know God can perform a miracle. You guys have been on my mind constantly since Monday night. My prayer is that soon she will be well and maybe we can all get together and see Carolina play! I know she would love that...
If you need ANYTHING...please let us know. We are praying for you, Jenni, and the whole family day and night. Be strong!!! We love you guys!

To all of my family members at Duke, please keep your chins up. You all know that Jenni is a fighter. I have forwarded a mass prayer request email to as many churches here in Virginia that I know how to contact here. Prayer is the answer at this point. I love you all and will be there soon,
Amy

"He [a righteous man] will have no fear of bad news; his heart is steadfast, trusting in the Lord." Psalm 112:7

I am praying for you and your family! And, always remember that God has the final word!

Jenni, Josh, family and friends. My name is Tim Cherry and I was sitting with you all in the uncertain and always hopeful waiting room of the Duke Hospital floor of the ICU. I have spent the last couple days with you and feel as if I am a part of a very small sliver of your story. My sister in law passed this morning at 530am so I did not get a chance to formally say my good-bye's and tell you my thoughts and prayers have been and will be with you and your family. And to those who do not know this tight knit family, they are one of the most amazing I have ever seen!! The love is contagious and obvious. It is very easy to fall in love with you!! I just arrived home this morning after driving 12 hrs back to michigan and have thought about you guys often. Best wishes, god speed, and god bless!! All of you are thought of always and often! PRAYERS ARE FOR JENNI!!
