Letter To My Sister

This is Judi (Jenni's twin sister). I don't know what Josh has posted today, so Im just gonna tell everyone what I know and feel. Jenni's right lung has collapsed (pneumothorax). The doctors put in a chest tube on that side also. Since they put the chest tube in the right side her lung has partially reinflated. A small victory, but we'll take what we can get. Jenni is very very swollen. Things aren't looking good for her, but my sister IS STRONG. SHE IS A FIGHTER! Please pray for my sister, Josh, and my whole family. We really need it.

Dear Jenni,
I know things are bad right now. Worse than they've ever been. I dont understand why this is happening to you, my sweet sister. Jenni, I am sending you all the strength I have. You fight Jenni; fight for you, for Josh, for me and the rest of the Wallace family. Since the day we were born its been the girls. Judi and Jenni. I need it to be like that for much longer. 26 years isnt long enough. You are my world, by best friend. I made a promise to you that I will walk in May. I will graduate. I will keep my promise. You keep fighting Jenni. Dont give up.
With all my love,
your twin sister -Judi

Judi/Josh--
There are SO many people praying right now. God is with you guys, just as we are in both heart and mind. God works in awesome ways, and even though we can't see His plan at this moment- it is for something great.
JenJen has LOTS of love and support from everyone that visits this site. Your families are in our prayers. Stay strong for her.

Judi, this is Miki Deese. I just wanted to let u know that I am praying for you and the entire family. You girls r very special to me.....I watched u both group up at BHBC. I, like you, do not understand why this is happening to someone who is such a genuinely kind, understanding young lady. We may not understand it, but one day we will. It reminds me of my cousin's son (Jeremy Jacobs). He was born with cystic fibrosis and the doctors told his parents that he probably wouldn't live past 5 years of age. But thank the Lord, we had him in our lives for almost 18 years. No one in our family understand why God would allow a young child suffer as much as he did, but we finally realized at the end, that God had put Jeremy in this world and our family for a purpose. He touched so many people with his testimony and was a powerful influence on all those who knew him. He taught us to trust in the Lord through all things, good and bad. His faith NEVER wavered. Even on the last day of his life, he was reading his BIBLE and praising the Lord. He told his parents that he was ready to go to Heaven. Even though it was one of the hardest things my family has had to endure, we also feel very privileged to have known and loved him.

He was a figher, just like Jenni is. I firmly believe that if it is God's will, she will get through this. Like I said before, I have been and will continue to lift up prayers for your entire family.

You were right on the money, when u said that it has always been Judi & Jenni. Keep the faith and if there is anything (other than prayer) that I can do for you, please call on me. I'm only a phone call away.

Much love,

Miki D.

Father, In the name of Jesus; I come to thank you for such a wonderful person as has been testified over and over on this site. I thank you for every blessing she has been to every person she meets. Father, even now in the state her body is in right now...she is STILL touching lives! We thank you for that. We thank you for the small victories as have been seen in the last day or two. Now Father, PLEASE touch Jenni, her whole entire family, her friends, her college buddies, her missionary friends, and every person who will be calling her name to you tonight. I ask in Jesus' Name that her lung completely inflates and her strength be renewed, that her body come back into submission to you, and that you heal her completely. I ask you to touch Josh and the other members of her family and make them strong. Give them the exact words to say to Jenni for such a time as this? Lord, this is so hard for them to witness, but I know your perfect and devine will is going to be done in Jenni's life. What a testimony she will be, and YOU ALONE will receive ALL THE HONOR AND GLORY for what is accomplished in her life. We know she is not alone because you told us in Psalm 91 that under YOUR wings she will be held safe and secure. I ask that you dispell ALL FEAR from her, and her family, and replace it with GODLY WISDOM. Break the bondage this sickness has over her body in Jesus' Name? Thank you in advance for all that you are going to do in her life in the coming days Lord. We so appreciate you being there with her throughout this entire process. Let her feel your loving arms holding her as you did me way back in 1994? I KNOW what that feels like and there is such HEALING in your touch. I love you and I ask all this in the precious name of Jesus. Amen.

Josh, I'm a friend of Sara A., and she has asked a HOST of people to join her in prayer for you and Jenni. My name is Cyndi and I have read your posts here and Judi's. I have prayed for you daily since I was made aware of your situation. I'm out of work and don't have money to send, but I do have MUCH MUCH LOVE and MANY PRAYERS to offer. Just hold on to God's unchanging hand. You may not understand why Jenni is having to travel this road on her journey home, but HE DOES! He is using Jenni STILL! When her healing comes, HE will be the only recipient of praise, honor, and glory, as HE ALONE is the TRUE HEALER, and He is in the house tonight my brother! Be blessed tonight! Rest sweet peaceful rest tonight and let Him do all the work in you and Jenni. In Jesus' Name!
