Josh, Layne, Judi, everyone: My heart aches for you tonight. Although I've never met you, I will never forget Jenni's impact on my life. Your story has touched me as a wife and as a Christian. I know it will be a long time before these words bring any comfort at all in your loss, but I am praying for your peace and giving thanks for Jenni's joyous homecoming, where she waits for all of you to join her at your appointed time.

May God's peace be with you.

Jenni, I will miss you as a good friend and as a sister. I love you more than you will know and I will forever be greatful for your friendship. I have many memories of you and will always treasure you. Words can not explain how I feel or felt. Josh, Judy, layne, Jim, maddie and Stephanie and Debbie..You all are in our thoughts and prayers. This message is the hardest for me as I am know writing it was hard for you all. I love you all and will always be here for you. . Jenni fought the good fight and now she is in heaven, we all will miss her and mourn her. She is looking down on us. Josh, you did everything and you fought for her. You both have taught me and so many others what it mean to have faith and how to love. I love you and again words can not express how I feel or how I know you all feel. She is forever in our hearts and we love you all. Jenni, I will miss you, but you fought the fight and I love you. Like I said this friendship is never going to be over..Katie

May the love of our Lord and Savior surround this loving family. Lord, keep them strong. Though nothing will ever fill the void in their hearts, I pray that You, Lord, will take hold of each of their hands... Lord, give them peace and comfort. We know You are the Almighty God, and only through You will their hearts begin to mend.

Josh, you are a trooper. You have shown me (and so many others) what it is like to truly love your better half. You are a remarkable person to let go of Jenni, and send her to the loving arms of God. How hard that must have been...

Judi, I never had a sister, and I cannot feel your pain. Just know that my prayers are with you. My heart breaks for you. As you grow in your nursing career, may the past three weeks impact you in ways unimaginable. May the Lord guide you to a place where you can be of service to someone else following similar footsteps. I pray that you will find strength and peace at the same time while never losing sight of the Lord.

Mr. Wallace, God is our refuge and strength. Be assured that Jenni now rests healthy in the arms of God. You raised such a wonderful daughter, and I know she made you proud. I am comforted by knowing you walk closely with the Lord and believe in His promises. May God be with you tonight and always.

To the other family members, cherish the memories you have of Jenni. Never forget the fighter that she was. Know that many, many people that you don't know are praying for you... praying for strength, comfort, and peace. God bless each of you.

Josh and family, This scripture comes to mind at this time of your loss. Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his saints. Psm. 116:15 I lost my mom to cancer in 2000 and this was quoted at her funeral. May you find comfort in knowing that Jenni has got her healing and is no longer suffering. She's in a better place than we are and she's finally knowing what we all can only wonder down here. "HOW BEAUTIFUL HEAVEN MUST BE". I just found out about Jenni and her family tonight from a email from my school, and I logged on to read some of what people were saying. I immediately felt a sense of honor to have heard of such a person. I did not know her but I really feel sad by your loss, and I sent out an email to friends and family of mine that would pray for yours. Do know that Jesus is TRUE, GOOD, and always NEAR! Continue to walk in his glory and let him comfort you as only he can. He tells us that he will never forsake us or leave us, BUT, will be with us til the end. Take consolation in knowing that your lovely Jenni is OKAY now.

"I Will Rise"

There's a peace I've come to know
Though my heart and flesh may fail
There's an anchor for my soul
I can say "It is well"

Jesus has overcome
And the grave is overwhelmed
The victory is won
He is risen from the dead

[Chorus:]
And I will rise when He calls my name
No more sorrow, no more pain
I will rise on eagles' wings
Before my God fall on my knees
And rise
I will rise

There's a day that's drawing near
When this darkness breaks to light
And the shadows disappear
And my faith shall be my eyes

Jesus has overcome
And the grave is overwhelmed
The victory is won
He is risen from the dead

[Chorus:]
And I will rise when He calls my name
No more sorrow, no more pain
I will rise on eagles' wings
Before my God fall on my knees
And rise
I will rise

And I hear the voice of many angels sing,
"Worthy is the Lamb"
And I hear the cry of every longing heart,
"Worthy is the Lamb"
[x2]

[Chorus:]
And I will rise when He calls my name
No more sorrow, no more pain
I will rise on eagles' wings
Before my God fall on my knees
And rise
I will rise

For my friend Jenni, who I will miss, and see one day (and I am a little jealous she is in the presence of our Savior....

Josh You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers. I look forward to meeting Jenni in heaven.
Their are times of darkness and pain when we can't see the light but all we can do is cling to God's arms like a child and remind ourselves one day we will be whole again.
Rev 21:4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.

I am sorry to for the pain you all must feel. Jenni was truly loved by many people. But this worlds loss is heaven's gain. She was truly an angel of God. Now she is in heaven free from her suffering looking down on the ones who loved her. Nothing anyone can say will ease your pain. The agony of the many things you wished you would have said and all the things you wished you would have done will cloud your mind. But remember Jenni knew how much you all loved her. You stood by her through this horrible ordeal day and night. Remember she is safe in God's arms free from all pain and suffering. She died peacefully with all the one's who meant the world to her gathered around. You are all in my prayers. I pray God will mend the broken hearts you all have over time and let you all see she is in a better place.Jenni will be truly missed. and Never forgotten. She made a more of an impact on peoples lives in her short life than most people do in 80 years. She showed so many the true meaning of love, and courage. She gave all she had to hang on to the life she had and the people she loved. But God had other plans for her.

Love and prayers always,

There is something powerful to be said for quality of life. Jenni made a difference in her years on this Earth and though the quantity of those years was short, the quality will forever be great! No one knows just how many lives were touched by Jenni’s story. Josh, you were a wonderful and loving husband who stuck by Jenni in the darkest times. What a testimony of true love! In these days, that is a rarity. God will bless you for your faithfulness. Judi, Layne and Amy, the bond of siblings is strong, and I am confident that Jenni felt your presence and your love every step of the way. Judi, you are very special to me! You have been on my mind nonstop since our emails this past week.

Jim, I am so sorry. I know your pain. I am convinced that there is no greater long-term suffering in this lifetime than that of losing a child, but the hours will turn into days, the days into months and the months into years...life will go on and there is nothing you can do about it.

Jenni is safe in the arms of Jesus...like Trenton...no more worries...no more pain. That is the only thought in which I find comfort.

I so love your family, and if there is ever anything I can do for any of you, please don’t hesitate to call.

Your faith, even back then, was tremendous!!!

I've already had a chat with my mom who passed away 14 years ago and have asked that she take special care of Jenni during her first few days in Heaven and show her around a bit. Our loss is definitely Heaven's gain!

Soon your trials will be over
Offered up by mercy's hand
A better view from where you stand
Going to another land

The sweetest welcome from the Father
Gathered up and carried home
We are past this time of waiting
Come let us bow before Your throne

CHORUS:
We will meet in the Golden City in the New Jerusalem
All our pain and all our tears will be no more
We will stand with the hosts of heaven
And cry holy is the Lamb
We will worship and adore You evermore

Never can the powers of darkness
Neither death nor even life
Let nothing ever separate us
From the holy love of God

CHORUS(2x)

Holy, Holy, Holy is the Lamb

They need to know the peace that comes from understanding that You have healed Jenni, that she is whole, that she is with You. Guide them through this overwhelming grief. Carry them, for I'm sure they are without the strength to walk alone. Remind them of the hope you have given all of us- the promise that we will see Jenni again.

I pray that you will feel God's comfort as you mourn.
Now Jenni can say: "The time has come for my departure. I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day—and not only to me, but also to all who have longed for his appearing." Just heard the news little while ago. I am so sorry. having been there, done this, I know how you feel. As others have commented, you know Jenni is now in a better place just as I know Ken is. They will both always be looking down on those they left behind with love and pride. Know that B and I are thinking of you today. Let me know if there is anything we can do. Judy E

To Josh and the Wallace family,
Our hearts break for you because of Jenni's passing, but at the same time we rejoice that you were blessed to have such a warm, loving person in your lives even if it was for too short a time. Your love and devotion to Jenni has been an inspiration to so many and your steadfast faith a wonderful testimony to the love and grace of God. Everyone will always remember Jenni and her wonderful smile. She is still smiling and I know she wants you to have the peace in your hearts that she has now.
Love and prayers, Vernie & Jean Hodges

We are so sorry for your loss. There is nothing we can say or do to take away your pain, but please know that we are thinking of you and praying for all of you. We are here for you ----whatever you may need, please do not hesitate to ask. In the short time we have known you, Layne, Stephanie, and Maddie, we have really come to feel you as part of our Rosemary family. Jenni was very blessed to have such a wonderful family here on Earth, and I hope you'll find peace and comfort in the knowledge that you will be with her again!!!

I never met Jenni that I can recall. I only know Layne. But, through this blog and reading the entries made by Josh and Judi and Layne, I've come to care about her so much. I've prayed for her over and over. And now - I want to say something, but I don't know what to say.
This is so hard on all of you. Hard to understand. Hard to accept. I was so saddened when I heard of Jenni's passing. So last night, I read in my Bible about death and eternal life through our Lord Jesus. I read and read until I began to feel calmer. I know He is in control. For whatever reason that humanly cannot be understood, He wanted Jenni to be with Him. The one good thing I can see is that Jenni loved the Lord. She had His salvation. So she is with Him. For the unsaved who die, that doesn't happen and there can be no comfort at all for those families. But for your family, you can know that comfort.
Still, though, there is sadness for yourselves, that you have had to give Jenni up for now. I know that hurts. I am so sorry. Please know that your entire family continues to be in my thoughts and in my prayers.

Josh,
I don't know you or Jenni I only know you by Kara and by reading you and your families updates on Jenni several times a day. You are both wonderful friends. You both have great hearts and had and have a true unconditional love for one another and others.I just want to say I can tell you'all share a very strong family bond and you'all have a very strong faith in God. In the coming days this is what will get you through the support of your family, friends, and your strong faith in God. When you are weak just remember you will survive and God will carry you.
I want you to know though that I believe God brings people into our lives for a reason. God brought you and Jenni together and you shared a beautiful strong bond like no other. You'all shared good times and rough times together and through them all you supported each other. Your faith in God has shown how devoted you'all were to each other and you'all have touched many lives. Josh you and Jenni I know fought hard til Jenni went to be with God where she is now at peace. I know this was hard like others have said but you did all that you could do. You gave her your all and she knew this. Cherish the memories you'all shared. Her memories will live on in the hearts of those who loved her and the lives she touched. Give yourself time to grief and never let anyone tell you when it's time to stop. You will get through this lean on God, your family and your friends and don't be afraid to ask for help beacause you have a wonderful support system and people who love and care about you.
My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. May you find peace, comfort, strength, and wisdom and know that everyone is still continuing to pray for you and your family. Jenni will truly be missed by all.
May God Bless all of you,
Kara's mom Maria

To Josh and the family,
We were so sorry to hear about Jenni. She was such a wonderful person...one of the best we ever met. She was an inspiration to many, and will be missed forever. I can't imagine the pain you are going through, but I am praying that soon God will take away that pain and replace it with happy memories of Jenni. We are so thankful that we got to meet Jenni. May God bless all of you.

"She flew up to Heaven on the wings of angels
By the clouds and stars and past where no one sees and she
walks with Jesus, and her loved ones waiting,
And I know she's smiling saying, Don't Worry 'Bout Me."

I'm so sorry to hear this.
It's been hard for me too.
I have been in tears for the past two days.
But I know my pain is not even close to what Josh and her family.
I wish them the best of luck.
And hope that they can move from this and know that now she is in a bettter place and not in pain anymore....
I misss seeing her in the morning when I got to school.
Her and my friend Jalen who also passed away from cancer a year and two days before Jenni did they both inspire me because many kids complain about coming to school and they are perfectly fine but here are two people with cancer with a life threating disease but they would do anything to be at school.
Well all and all.
I'm sorry to here this.
Hope Josh and Family could see the bright spot in this that she is out of pain and figure that it was for the best.
Much love.
