7:00 Update

We have had a few frustrations this afternoon. First, during the 11:00-2:00 visitation period, they were supposed to be doing dialysis. They failed at their attempt, and did not inform the family. The frustrating part was that we missed an two and a half hours of time with Jenni. When you are measuring your remaining time with your loved on in hours, every one counts.

Second they did a bronchoscopy. Earlier in the day they decided not to do one because they believed she was to fragile. They failed to inform us about their decision. The doctors and I had a heart to heart about it, and communication seems to be a little better this evening.

She had a new port put in for a second attempt at dialysis that should start at 9:00 pm.

The doctor on the floor seems to be a little more optimistic. He thinks we can try a few things that have a chance to help.

Make no mistake, the situation is still very bleak.

Continue to pray for the lungs to STOP BLEEDING. All of this other stuff is rather academic if they do not.

Thank You,

Grace and Peace
Layne

Dear Family and Friends of Jenni,

You do not know me, but I am a friend of Lindsey. You are ALL in my prayers. I know it is sometimes hard to have faith at dificult times like these. Just know that their are people you dont even know, that are praying for you, and thinking of you. Have faith and God Bless.

Praying they are able to do their job with this new port. I'm also praying for the Doctors to be compassionate and to better inform you the family. With God all things are possible. Love Katie.

O holy Father, heavenly Physician of our souls and bodies, who hast sent thine Only-begotten Son our Lord Jesus Christ to heal all our ailments and deliver us from death: do thou visit and heal thy servant Jenni, granting her release from pain and restoration to health and vigor, that she may give thanks unto thee and bless thy holy Name, of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit: now and ever, and unto ages of ages. Amen.

Jenni - you are being lifted up in prayer by many people. I am your cousin Janet, Carol's daughter. I've sent a request to a lot of prayer warriors to pray for you. You are a very brave young lady & I am proud of you.

Pray without ceasing. 1 Tess. 5:17
I believe people are lifting Jenni's name before our Father constantly. I am one of them. I pray that He who made Jenni and who made her lungs, will reach down, stop the bleeding, and heal them. In the name of our Savior, Jesus Christ.

Jenni, Josh, Judi and the rest of Jenni's family...we are all praying for you all. I called some people from my church and we started praying on the phone with each other and they were going to make phone calls too. I have learned over the past two months that when things seem like nothing is going right and it is all going to be over soon God continues to show his grace and his mercy and his love. God will continue to bless you all and I and my family will continue to pray for you.

Love,
Carrie

I would ask for those who are able, to fast along with prayer. Something, anything. Sodas, coffee, caffeine free Mountain Dew, TV, etc. For those who are more able and can, no meat (fish ok); no dairy optional.
